Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, Swimathon 2020 was originally postponed from 27-29 March to 16-18 October 2020. At this point, given that there will be social distancing rules and new operating procedures in place within leisure centres, the postponed Swimathon event is coming to you as a brand-new virtual event! Everyone’s existing entry and all future 2020 entries will be switched to a MySwimathon entry.
Swimming is back. Swimathon is back. You can take on your challenge from today until Saturday 31 October - inclusive! At any pool, or open water venue of your choosing. You have flexibility with the distance you wish to swim too, all our traditional distances are available: 400m, 1.5k, 2.5k or 5k; as well as our 1.5k or 5k team challenges. However, if those distances don’t suit for you, then you can select literally any distance from 10m up! You don’t have to complete your swim in one go, multiple sessions are allowed, so you can accumulate your distances over any number of swims. It’s your challenge, your way.
Complete your challenge from today – Saturday 31 October at any pool or open water venue that suits you
Choose to swim one of the set challenges or your own preferred distance. It’s your swim, your way!
