Swim England is the national governing body for swimming in England. It helps people learn how to swim, enjoy the water safely, and compete in all aquatic sports.
Swim England’s vision is of a nation swimming and it strives to inspire everyone to enjoy the water in the way that suits them. Each month millions of people are able to enjoy swimming, diving, water polo and synchronised swimming, having been through the Swim England Learn to Swim Programme.

Everyone Active is the UK’s longest-established leisure provider. Formed in 1987, it has just celebrated its 30th successful year in operation.
Managing more than 150 leisure facilities across the country in partnership with 49 local authority partners, Everyone Active offers extensive opportunities for people of all abilities to improve their skills and confidence in the water.
Everyone Active’s involvement with Swimathon dates back 10 years, during which it has raised considerable funds for charities such as Marie Curie and Sport Relief. This year, almost 100 Everyone Active pools will be participating in Swimathon.
Fusion Lifestyle Fusion Lifestyle is a leading independent registered charity which provides quality sport, leisure and fitness activities and facilities to local communities. We are experienced in restoring, redeveloping and renovating leisure facilities and we are committed to inclusive access to sports and fitness benefiting the entire community.
As a registered charity, all profits generated are reinvested in facilities and service improvement. In recent years, we have enabled the investment of more than £150m breathing life back into community facilities. Every week, we teach 47k children to swim, delivering 3.5 million swimming lessons per year. Last year we rose over £100,000 for Swimathon with over 1,000 swimmers taking part at 42 sites.

The largest operator of public swimming facilities in the UK, our success means we’re proud to be the first leisure operator in the UK to be awarded the prestigious Social Enterprise Mark and the Big Society Award.
GLL has supported the Swimathon event for many years and is looking forward to its busiest year in 2018 with over 70 pools registered. Fundraising in GLL pools has topped £300,000 in recent years and 2018 is expected to be another successful year.
Parkwood Leisure, a leading leisure management company have over 20 years experience in the leisure and fitness industry. Having recently secured the UK Water Leisure Operator of the Year award for two years consecutively, they are committed to delivering inclusive sport and fitness as well as a safe environment for all.
Parkwood Leisure has supported Swimathon for a number of year and recent events have seen an impressive £91,000 raised, with over a 1000 swimmers taking part. Back again for the 2018 event with the anticipation of delivering another successful event in the 30 centres taking part.
Places for People Leisure
Places for People Leisure Places for People Leisure is a leading leisure management company currently operating over 100 leisure facilities on behalf of local authorities. It’s a Social Enterprise with heart and soul and is passionate about improving opportunities for communities to be physically active. It’s driven by its mission ‘to create active places and healthy people’.
Places for People Leisure has supported Swimathon for 9 years and over this period, has raised an impressive £1.6 million for charitable causes. With 68 of our sites registered for Swimathon 2018, we’re looking forward to raising even more and being part of the ‘world’s largest fundraising swim’.
